In short what effects the price is how dirty the overall car is, the amount of etchings, scratches and then the colour are factors that can change a price because it changes our labour time and product costs of a particular service.

A dirty or a dirty neglected car requires more time cleaning and more time fixing and more time means more labour costs.

A quick polish to increase shine and micro fine scratches starts at $220
A medium level polish for increased shine and wet gloss but with a little more cut starts at $350.
The best I can get out of it is approx $600 to $800.
The most I have ever charged is $1200.
