Guard Rolling – Golf R mk7

VW GOLF R MK7 guard rolling.
I was lucky enough to be given the job to roll the inner lip of the guard.
The screws needed removing then rolled to the maximum that could be achieved that the inner liner would allow.
Passing this point would cause the liner to pop out a little instead of being held into position (between the lip and the inner guard).
If for example I was required to roll passed that point where the liner pops out I would trim the liner.
It is a good idea to stay away from cutting the liner because the hole that is now open now allows dirt, water and stones to go through.
You should think carefully when about the ins and outs of having your guards rolled.
