Guard rolling – modding the front liners
« Back to BlogPosted: 09 Jul 2019
Front Guards rolled on the Hawkeye.
Lipping on the fronts may cause the plastic wheel arch liner to not sit in the lip of the guard anymore.
There are 3 options, the first one is to be conservative on the roll leaving the liner intact. Option 2 is to modifying the liner by cutting a section out which usually is the best option. Option 3 is to completely remove the
liner and is not the best recommendation for legal purposes.
On this Hawkeye we trimmed the liner to (a) roll the lip aggressively and (b) slightly push on the guard to gain an additonal 5mm.
