HOW TO SAFELY PERFOM A MAINTENANCE DETAIL
The purpose of the maintenance detail is to maintain and top up the main parts of the vehicle with the emphasis on the exterior body and leather. Closer attention of the wheels and light colour fabrics.
Approximately 3 hours.
All materials and tools supplied.
The course requires you to ‘watch and learn’ and minimal hands on.
The course outline,
This course covers the basic preparation like claying of paint on a maintenance level detail prior to the LSP. How to seal/pre waxing product like sealants. How to wax using paste and cream waxes (Hand and RO.) The tools required for the maintenance detail is discussed briefly. Cleaning and treatment of leather, vinyl, plastic etc. Cleaning windows and screens. Basic chrome maintenance.
The basic clean using the two types of ‘The 2 bucket method’ and the snow foam wash is NOT covered as that is covered in our How To Clean A Car module.
First class of up to 10 is likely to commense mid September.
