Glass Coating vs Ceramic Coating vs Quartz

Many of us from professional installers, hobbyists and general consumers get confused when it comes to the array of SiO2 coatings avaible today.

So here is a quick easy to understand word from the technical department.

There are many kinds of Si raw materials, and the application range is very wide. Some Si can be made into real windows, and some Si can be made into the protective coating on the car (like OPTiX quartz glass coating).
However, whether Si is heated or cooled, it is impossible for ceramics to become ceramic coffee cups for everyday use. This is attributed to changing the nature of materials and changing its physical properties. It is impossible for chemical components to be realized.
Therefore, this argument and propaganda are wrong. Without scientific basis

I wanted to add some info about quartz coatings, by reading this extract from Wikipedia,

Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is an oxide of silicon with the chemical formula SiO₂, most commonly found in nature as quartz and in various living organisms. In many parts of the world, silica is the major constituent of sand.Wikipedia
Formula: SiO2
Melting point: 1,710 °C
