Here is an inside look into the comprehensive detailing process that brought this Italian stallion back to life.

Phase 1: Meticulous Preparation and Decontamination

Before any machine touches the delicate Ferrari clear coat, the surface must be surgically clean. Des began with a thorough, multi-step wash process to ensure absolute safety.

• Snow Foam Pre-Wash: A thick layer of pH-neutral snow foam was applied to encapsulate and lift loose dirt and road grime without scratching the surface.

• Safe Hand Wash: Using the two-bucket method and ultra-plush microfiber wash mitts, the vehicle was gently washed from top to bottom.

• Chemical Decontamination: The paintwork was treated with a dedicated iron fallout remover to dissolve embedded brake dust and industrial fallout, followed by a tar removal treatment.

• Physical Decontamination: An ultra-fine detailing clay bar was glided across the panels using a specialized lubricant. This step pulled the remaining microscopic contaminants from the clear coat, leaving the surface feeling as smooth as glass and perfectly prepped for polishing.

Phase 2: Precision Paint Correction

Ferrari paintwork is notoriously unique—often quite soft and extremely unforgiving if handled incorrectly. To achieve absolute perfection, Des utilized a multi-stage paint correction process tailored specifically to the Speciale’s clear coat.
