Should I roll my guards before lowering or fitting my new wheels?

What should I do first?
Roll the guards prior to fitting new wheels?
Roll the guards prior to lowering the car?
A very good question that I get asked a lot.
There’s no right or wrong answer for most car owners asking this.
It comes down to which approach you feel is the best for your individual case.
For most Japanese and euro cars using coilovers will cause an issue for me if I need to bolt on a hub mounted roller and the ultra shortened shock does no allow enough clearance for the roller to puch at the correct angle. CORRECT ANGLE is important.
BUT not all cars need or is able to allow a roller to spin freely in order to be used properly.
So from my point of view I prefer guards to be done prior to fitting coilovers.
BUT for some reason I find Tein coilovers seem to allow more drop although not enough.
There are some cars that suffer from bulging and therefore the approach is to do less than more. But without it with wheels on and lowered it is too hard and to guess and therefore not accurate and not good practice to advise such prediction.
One thing I can say is prevention will most likely reduce or avoid damage.
