Definitely for me I found the Rotex125 so much better to use and to use it everyday is a dream. The Rotex 150 is just a machine powerhouse but a bit too noisy.
I can say there is almost nothing between the rupes and the knock off.
Infact in some cases the knock machine felt better when in use and much lighter and is slightly more ergonomical around the trigger. For a detailing shop the rupes would be more efficient on the power bill especially if you are buffing 8 hours a day.
End of the day both the rupes and the knock off are not versatile in both cost or use and therefore is not a good choice for the master professional. The true professional can master the rotary and finish with a rotex because the rotex has a smaller throw and most likely a finer finish.
Anyways thats my opinion.
